From starting skiing at the young age of 6 to competing in her first world cup slalom race one day shy of her 16th birthday, Mikaela Shiffrin was predicted to become the world’s greatest skier since day one.
As a kid, her parents had a poster autographed for her by three-time U.S. Olympian Heidi Voelker, who wrote beneath her signature, “a.b.f.t.t.b.” which stands for: “always be faster than the boys.” Shiffrin wrote it on her skis as a junior racer, and now it’s a decal on her racing helmet. To this day, this motto still stands strong as she became the winningest alpine skier of all-time. Her signature series goggle is available in two sizes so everyone can rep the same style as the G.O.A.T.
One size does not fit all, so Oakley has expanded the popular Flight Deck family with a mid-sized fit. Inspired by the helmet visors of fighter pilots, Flight Deck M maximizes your field of view so you won’t miss a single target of opportunity. It was engineered for seamless compatibility, giving you the flexibility to choose the helmet that fits your style. Designed with Oakley’s Ridgelock Technology, changing lenses is quick and easy while still allowing for a complete lens seal to prevent harsh conditions from penetrating into your goggle.
